Multi-cloud "flexibility" is largely theoretical:
- Most workloads don't actually move between clouds

For enterprises with massive scale and specialized needs, multi-cloud can make sense. For most growing businesses, it's complexity without payoff.
Why we chose AWS
We could have specialized in any major cloud. We chose AWS deliberately. Here's the reasoning:

AWS is the cloud market leader by a significant margin. More businesses run on AWS than any other platform. More services exist. More tooling exists. More expertise exists.
This isn't just bragging rights. Market leadership means:
- Proven at scale. The most demanding workloads in the world run on AWS.
- Comprehensive ecosystem. Whatever you need to do, AWS has a service for it.
- Talent availability. More engineers know AWS than any other platform.
Breadth and depth of services
AWS has over 200 services spanning compute, storage, databases, machine learning, IoT, and more. When clients need something, AWS almost always has a purpose-built solution.
This matters because purpose-built services are:
- Faster to implement than custom solutions
- More reliable than cobbled-together alternatives
- Cheaper to operate than running your own
Innovation pace
AWS releases thousands of new features and services every year. Whatever the next technology trend is — AI, edge computing, quantum — AWS is investing heavily and shipping early.

Reliability track record
Amazon runs its own massive e-commerce business on AWS. They have overwhelming incentives to keep it running. The reliability, while not perfect (nothing is), is exceptional.

We're not saying AWS is the only good cloud. Azure and Google Cloud are both excellent platforms with their own strengths. We're saying deep expertise in one platform delivers better outcomes than shallow expertise in several.

AWS-specific skills don't transfer perfectly. If you ever moved to another platform, some of what we built would need rethinking.
We accept these tradeoffs because we believe the benefits of specialization outweigh the costs. For the businesses we serve — growing companies building on cloud infrastructure — deep AWS expertise delivers more value than broad-but-shallow multi-cloud capability.
